1. The first step in accepting a submittal package is to do a brief quality control overview of the project. You will want to make sure that the project that has been submitted contains accurate information, has a complete submittal package, and is ready for review. We do this to ensure that the reviewers are not notified to examine a project that is incomplete or inaccurate.
2. You can begin your quality control by looking at the basic project information in the middle of the page.
3. Next scroll down the page until you see the project documents section. You should see at least one folder labeled Application Submittal 001. This folder indicates that it contains all the documents that were uploaded for the first submittal. When the folder is displayed in solid black that indicates that there are files inside and you may click on the folder to expand the contents. When looking at the submittal package you may want to check that all the required documents are present, and that they are titled appropriately.
(By clicking on “Application Submittal 001” it will expand underneath and show you what all has been uploaded to this submittal)
4. If everything is there that is needed for the submittal you are ready to “Accept Submittal Package”
5. Next you will be prompted to assign a project admin and send a notification (email) to the applicant letting them know that their submittal has been accepted for review.
6. Next you will need to verify that the “Review cycle due date” is correct.
7. After you verify the review cycle due date is correct it is time to assign reviewers.
8. Once all reviewers have been selected it is time to send the “Plan review assignment notification to employees and select the required permits. Once finished you are able to click “SUBMIT”, and you have accepted the Submittal Package.
