How to Complete the Intake Review-Declining

Modified on Mon, 9 Aug, 2021 at 11:24 AM

1. The first step in accepting a submittal package is to do a brief quality control overview of the project. You will want to make sure that the project that has been submitted contains accurate information, has a complete submittal package, and is ready for review. We do this to ensure that the reviewers are not notified to examine a project that is incomplete or inaccurate.

2. You can begin your quality control by looking at the basic project information in the middle of the page.

3. Next scroll down the page until you see the project documents section. You should see at least one folder labeled Application Submittal 001. This folder indicates that it contains all the documents that were uploaded for the first submittal. When the folder is displayed in solid black that indicates that there are files inside and you may click on the folder to expand the contents. When looking at the submittal package you may want to check that all the required documents are present, and that they are titled appropriately.

(By clicking on “Application Submittal 001” it will expand underneath and show you what all has been uploaded to this submittal)

4. Once you verify everything that is needed has been uploaded and it all has been labeled correctly you are ready to either decline the submittal or approve it.

If there are documents missing in the upload or they are not titled appropriately etc, you will decline it.

(Note: Once you “Decline Submittal Package” it will prompt you to send a notification to the applicant letting them know it was declined. This will put it back into their hands and they will have to resubmit once the items have been uploaded that were missing.) also, feel free to edit this email to include the reason for the denial. Once you are ready to send the email, simply click submit.
